How to customise your menu and show staff only their pages
Every person can arrange their own menu, and the Super User decides what each role or person sees. A cashier can open straight on APOPS POS with nothing else in the menu, while a storekeeper sees only Stock management. What people may do still follows their role and rights.

Steps
Open Customise my menu
At the bottom of the left menu press Customise my menu.
Arrange your own menu
Drag items between sections or up and down, or use Move to. Drop what you do not use into Hidden. Save: the arrangement follows you on every device.
Choose who the staff settings are for
As the Super User, press Customise for staff. Under For choose all staff, a role (for example Cashiers) or one person.
Hide a few pages, or show only some
Choose Hide the pages I tick to remove a few items, or Show only the pages I tick to leave only those. With Show only, everything else leaves their menu, including the Dashboard and the other products.
Choose where they open
With Show only, choose the page they open on when they sign in, for example APOPS POS for a cashier or Stock management for a storekeeper. Save.
Tips
- A choice for one person wins over their role, and a choice for a role wins over all staff.
- The menu keeps things simple; rights keep things safe. Give the till rights in APOPS POS > Settings and the stock rights in Stock management as well.
