How customers pay
- EVC Plus, Zaad and Sahal wallets through your own WaafiPay merchant account: the customer approves the payment on the phone
- eDahab through your own eDahab account: the payment request appears on the customer's phone
- Visa and Mastercard on WaafiPay's secure page: card details are never typed on CheckThis
- Cash and bank transfers recorded against the invoice, checked by a second person
Paid means confirmed
- An invoice is marked paid only after CheckThis asks WaafiPay or eDahab that the payment was approved, for the right amount and currency
- A screenshot or a message from the customer never marks an invoice paid
- The receipt is issued and emailed by itself once the payment is confirmed
- Every payment appears in the audit trail and in your daily collections report

Invoice in US dollars or Somali shillings. When your invoices are in one currency and the provider charges in another, you set the exchange rate once and it is kept on every payment, so the books always reconcile.
Your account, your money
Each company connects its own WaafiPay or eDahab merchant account. Payments never pass through APOPS or CheckThis. The CheckThis team helps you connect the account, and the keys are stored encrypted.
